Manhattan From Above Brooklyn

This is a view from above Brooklyn, across lower Manhattan to the New Jersey shoreline. The three bridges that connect Brooklyn to lower Manhattan have been painted much larger than life. They seem somewhat alive in the way they undulate to connect to the freeways on either side of the East River. The buildings are made with thick swaths of paint, creating a visual equivalent of the visceral feel of the city as you walk through it.
