Works on Paper

I have always worked on paper. I sketch cities on small watercolour sheets and in handmade sketchbooks. I love the luxury of pre mixed pastel colours and the act of drawing that they incite. I have made oversized watercolour paintings on wet paper at a scale that forces fast and decisive work. I return to working on paper when I am looking for something new in my art.
